Stories of a Hairdresser/Kim's first date

So the other day I was at my hairdresser and we were talking about how her daughter Brooke has her first crush. AWWWWWWWWW!

Anyways Christie, my hairdresser, was saying how her husband is not ok with the fact that one of their daughters is interested in boys at such a young age, and my mom was like "Well when Kim was around her age Jim was saying how he would chaperone her first date. He was going to be James the Chauffeur."

Needless to say, I was reminded of how horrible my first date was....But yeah other than that it was a good day.

The End

So one time when I was 8, and bored, I made two lists. one list was a list of what I wanted to name my future son, the other was a list of what I wanted to name my future daughter. The daughter list is still MIA, but I found the son list yesterday...I was appauled. Now the names are actually fairly normal names for an 8 year old girl to come up with. But being the 18 year old girl I am now, I have some serious problems with the names on the list, especially names 1 and 2. Now because I have nothing to do until my dad picks me up from campus today so I can do some shopping for my cosplays, I'm going to sit here and write out the list and specifically explain why I wouldn't use these names for my son(s), besides the fact that I might have to explain their namesakes to them and some of them just don't have a good enough reason to be the name of my kid that's gonna come along in the next 10 years or so.

1. Matt (Yes, name number one on my list, that I made when I was 8, EIGHT, is Matt. At the time I knew like...I dunno 2, maybe 3, Matt's. One of them was really cool and the other one was a total douchebag. But the cool one's coolness outweighed the douchebaggery of the second one. Since I've been 8, I've met about 6 other Matt's, 2 of which were actually my friends and one of which carried my books for me a lot after I had fractured my right shoulder...playing tag...>.> ANYWAYS, the reason I can't bare to name my son Matt now is because 1. I know way too many Matt's for it to be healthy at this point. Like my God people choose another name for your sons, God! 2. The 4 Matt's that have had a considerable amount of influence in my life are completely and utterly insane. The first one, the cool Matt who used to live across the street from me, made his sister climb to the top of their swingset, causing her to break her neck, and tried to sell ME to some creepy guy down the block from us. The second one, the douchebag Matt, bullied me for most of elementary school and left me mentally scarred for the rest of my life. The third Matt, the one who would help me carry my stuff, well...to be honest he's actually kinda normal now that I think about it, but since his sisters and I made him the bad guy in one of our comics...I just can't...XD it was funny, not serious at all, can't take the name seriously anymore. And finally number 4, the Matt that I only call Matt occassionally because of Matt number 3 and because everyone calls him by his last name, I have a feeling if that name is used and I tell my son he's partially named after this 4th Matt...yeah I'm pretty sure he'll become convinced he's Batman or something...idk alright? XD)

2. Brandon (Yup, name numero dos was Brandon. At the time I didn't know any Brandon's. I wasn't even entirely sure it was a name. Then I got to freshman year of high school and I met this Brandon in some of my classes. He was a smart, upstanding gentleman and a good example to list as a namesake for any future child...then I met my two friends named Brandon. :P The first one I met is...I'm not saying he's the reason I don't wanna name my kid that but I mean in all honesty talking to my kid, who has the same name as one of my friends is just awkward in general. The second Brandon who's my friend...he's my ex...that'd be really weird to name my kid and it have the same name as my ex, you know? For more explanation on why I don't wanna name my kid after an ex, see Ryan its like...number 11 on the list or something. Edit: Brandon is also the name of my friend Meg's boyfriend...the end.)

3. Gannon (Actually not only did I get this name from the Legend of Zelda, its also the only name on the original list I'm still considering.)

4. Tyler (There's only room for one Tyler in this world, and that's Tyler Houston...as in my friend from Viator with the "Tampico never forget." Or something like that. I DUNNO, I WENT TO PUBLIC SCHOOL! >.<)

5. Peter (Ok so Peter, at the time I made this list I knew one Peter, one, and he was pretty nice and stuff. Also a gentleman, and dare I say classy. But um...as time went on, I got to know more Peter's...some less tolerable than the others. There was one Peter though, that kinda saved the name for me. My friend Erin's little brother Peter. He's awesome! But then I thought "wait...Peter has to be one of the most adorable younger siblings on the planet...also he does seem to have a habit of getting injured either on his own or by people...what if my son ends up like that? I DON'T WANT THE GLASS DOOR TO TRY TO GIVE HIM A FACE MASSAGE!(See Erin's fb profile for statuses on that.)

6. Jeff (Just...no...)

7. Anthony (Well I mean the name was just kinda thrown in cause I thought it was cool, but here's the thing, I've only interacted with about 5 Anthony's on a "ok we're gonna be having more than one conversation in our entire lives." basis, and most of them were not so good. For one, I have a cousin named Anthony, he and I are pretty close...now...when we were younger we had absolutely nothing in common so we either didn't talk or we fought with eachother, then the show Xiaolin Showdown came around and we bonded, when it was canceled we stopped talking again. We weren't extremely close until I dated a guy who had gone to middle school with him that he didn't exactly like or trust, and over this past summer he spent a lot of time planning people's deaths for me, even though I told him not to but whatevs. Two Anthony's bullied me for most of elementary school adding to the mental scarring caused by Matt #2 and others. One is my cousin's ex husband who has done some terrible things that I'm not allowed to talk about on the interwebz :3 and one is another person who I refer to by last name, he's like a little bro to me. All in all, considdering only 2 out of 5 of the Anthony's I talk(ed) to on a regular basis are nice...that name can go bye bye.)

8. Chris (whenever I think of the name Chris I think of a really tall and skinny guy obsessed with screamo music...basically my college friend XD)

9. Sean (I haven't had any bad experiences with people named Sean, I just don't see a good reason to name my kid Sean, especially when I've already got a buddy named Sean, one's enough kthx.)

10. Danny (Though I do have a very very awesome friend with the name...I also have some very very evil enemies with this name. MENTAL SCARRING!)

11. Ryan (Ryan's a cool name, got a buddy named Ryan that goes to school with Matt #4, Ty, and one of teh Brandon's. It's just again...dated a guy named Ryan...having a kid with the same name as your ex is just awkward. O___O I mean I suppose it doesn't have to be if you don't act like its awkward, but not acting like something is awkward is hard. :P)

12. Mark (I knew a nice kid named Mark from my church, didn't know him when I made the list because the only Mark I really knew was an asshat, but even so I just don't wanna name my kid this.)

13. Dylan (Already have a son (read: friend) named Dylan. He is one of mah bffls! X3)

14. Connor (The origins behind this name are creepy...because you see, I had a friend named Connor who I'd known since I was 3 and I had an extremely obvious crush on him...ask Mk, it was dreafully obvious. DX Oh my God, I mean its still kinda obvious now when I like a guy...and it should be extremely obvious when I don't like a guy (but I won't get into that rant now), but it was worse when I was younger. But I digress, he moved away in the 7th grade so I was like "Oh I can name my son that in his honor." When I found the list, then I was like, wait I'm in contact with him on fb. >.> That was the end of that.)

15. Aaron (I'll confess, when I thought of the name it had no meaning, except for that one singer, but I can't use it now because it has too much meaning...like July 3rd 2005 too much meaning...)

16. Brian (...Uhhhhhhhh...Let's never speak of this again, shall we?)

17. Jack (Jack...I have some friends named Jack...only one of them is sane, he goes to school with Ty and such. One of them thinks he's Captain Planet. One's a twin. One took a picture of him and a friend as they ran through our high school hallway with nothing on but some pizza boxes. And one was not my friend and tortured me for various reasons through all of elementary school.)

18. Mike (Tooo maaaany Miiiiiiiiike's)

19. Cody (The only one I know is the twin of one of the Jack's and he once joined in, on saying I needed to "Flap my wings like a beautiful, graceful, gazelle." O___O)

20. Jeremy (Actually scratch what I said in my Gannon comment, this name is still on the list. I only know two Jeremy's well and one of them was cute and nice. X3)

Just a Thought

There's always a point in someone's life when they wish they could change the past so that some event didn't happen.

Recently I've been doing some thinking and I realized that with all the shit I've been through, with all the loved ones I've lost, all the stupid things I've done, all the people I've hurt, all the people who've hurt me...I don't regret any of it.

I don't want to take any of it back. I don't regret any of it, I mean yes I feel bad for hurting people, yes I still have trouble believing in myself when it comes to certain things because of the people who've hurt me, yes I miss everyone that's died.

But all of that made me who I am today, all of that gave me the friends I have today. All of that turned me into a pretty smart kid.

So really, it's not that bad...any of it. If I was given the chance to change the past I wouldn't do it. I like things how they are, even if they're pretty messed up sometimes.

Just a thought from my brain-muscle. :3

Disney Princes

So this is a continuation of my earlier post about the Disney Princesses. I've started thinking about which of my friends would be which princes. First up Aladdin. I think that Aladdin would have to be my friend Erin. First thought that came into my mind. Side fact her brother Peter would be Abu the monkey.

I feel like my friend Mary Kate would be Prince Naveen from Princess and the Frog, only because I remember her obsessing over him a bit when the movie came out. hehehehehe LOVE YOU MK!! :3

I feel like my friend Alex would be the Beast/Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast. I'm not trying to sound mean or anything its a compliment. The Beast matures more throughout the movie and I feel like Alex has too over the time I've known her.

I feel like my friend/little sis Brittany would be Prince Charming from Snow White...ok seriously at this point people if you question me about why then you should stop reading cause I'm having fun placing people as the princes and princesses.

I feel like my friend Colleen would be Eugene/Flynn Rider from Rapunzel. (she had a dream one time where she was him, it was a costume but whatevs)

I feel like my friend Lara would be the Prince from Cinderella (she's dating Dale after all). My friend Jess would be Hercules (yea he's not a prince but shush! I categorized Meg I can categorize Hercules) ...Brianna's gonna kill me for this, but I think she would be Prince Eric from the little mermaid. X3

I feel like Laura, My friend Danny Saam's girlfriend, would be the prince from Sleeping Beauty...since D Saam is Aurora. I feel like my friend Kiki would be Captain Shang from Mulan...XD my friends are gonna kill me when this is over with. XD Finally I think I would be John Smith from Pocahontas and my cousin Angie (who is not part of the group but is one of my best friends) would be John Rolfe from Pocahontas 2. Hahahahahaha I just bent the rules to sacrifice another person to my weird categorizing obsession. However many of my friends are not on this list and are still safe...for now. Until I do secondary characters and yea. XD

Let it be known that in my will it says that all Kingdom Hearts stuff goes to Devins, all cosplays go to Brittany, and Mary Kate gets to divide the rest as she sees fit. If a will is found that does not specifically state this, it is a fake will.

Memory Loss Fun! :D

So I feel I have a serious problem that needs to be addressed. It seems that sometimes I have short-term memory loss...or long-term memory loss...or look I dunno I forget random things at random times. Like one day I couldn't remember where I keep the chocolate in the kitchen and I kept going to the scissor cabinet instead of the chocolate cabinet.

Or this other time I slept over at Nicol's house with our friend Maddy, and Nicol's step-brother Sam and once it reached 3 a.m. we couldn't remember eachother's names.

But by far the worst has to be...well you'll see:

Yeah...I forgot I'd dated someone...I think I need help XD Kinda makes me wonder what other stuff I've forgotten over the years and why. I mean these were all random and funny occurrences but I DO know that if I'm freaked out by something I tend to forget anything else that happened that day.

...I hope I don't forget anything that happens at acen this year, cause that thing is always fun...well...the end. :P

Disney Princesses

So today I went to target with my friend colleen and we were just derping around, minding our own business when we ended up wandering down the toy aisle.

We ended up walking past the Disney Princess section and I picked up a doll of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, turned to Colleen and started to say "If the guys were Disney Princesses..." Before I finished my sentence I truly thought about what I was saying. I put the doll back where I got it from and proceeded to curl up into the fetal position on the floor and cry for my lost childhood.

Colleen then said I ruined the princesses for her but then asked why I brought it up. I said that I was going to say if our guy friends were the Disney Princesses our friend Ty would be Belle. She laughed and agreed, then she said that Eric would be Rapunzel.

We went to anime club after this conversation and didn't bring it up again until she was driving me home. On the ride home we agreed our friend Bartell was indeed Snow White since she is the youngest princess and he is the youngest of our guy friends.

We went back and forth on who was who for a while and then finally decided that the rest of our friends went as such: our friend D Saam was Aurora/Sleeping Beauty, our friend Recht was Ariel, Dale was Cinderella, Devins was Jasmine, and Delarosa was Tianna. These decisions left a few of our guy friends safe, however we concluded that the last two princesses, Mulan and Pocahontas, were our friends Jack and Rodriguez. (We just haven't decided which is which yet.)

I concluded one final piece of information on my own, though Meg from Hercules is not a princess, she can accurately be represented by our friend Sonny. That is all...I hope no one was offended. Have a nice day.

P.S. Because our guy friends are all straight, this means that the girls in our group are the princes. XD

Cosplays! X3

So I know I just updated yesterday, but what can I say, I'm on a blogging and anime convention high right now. Let's take a moment to review all of my past cosplays cause I can! :3

I know cosplays aren't everyone's thing, ecpecially my cosplays cause they suck, so if you don't wanna read this then you should gtfo. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! <3

So there were literally no pictures of my first cosplay, but I was Miyuki Takara from Lucky Star. :3

I cosplayed as her for amke 2009 and acen 2009. Twas fun but it was kind of a fail, hence no pictures.

My next cosplay was Namine from Kingdom Hearts 2, which only lasted for amke 2010, however I will be cosplaying as her again some other time.

My next cosplay after that was Blue (or Green) from Pokemon Adventures. That was used at acen 2010, amke 2011, and acen 2011. It might be used again at acen 2012.

After I did that cosplay, I was Kagura Sohma for amke 2012. :3 (and my friend Bartell was Kyo)

Can you tell that as my cosplays went on I got more pictures of them? XD Surprisingly...or not surprisingly as I should say, the one outfit I actually had the most pictures taken of me in was this one:

That's not even a cosplay, but I'm not going to question. :P I'd hope it was the fact that I was wearing a wig, but I wore a wig for the Namine cosplay and there weren't that many pictures of that cosplay at all.

I'm doing one of my dream cosplays this acen, Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter...I'm gonna need luck for that. ^^;

I'm doing a mix of the OVA outfit and the anime outfit, and by that I mean I'm doing the OVA outfit, but I'm wearing my glasses cause I'ma lazy. XD

So because I have no other way to end this other than the thing I deleted a few minutes ago, which was just me raging at ERIC FOR BEING AN IMPATIENT MEANIE FACE! (love you) *ahem* I would like whoever decides to commen to say what they think of my cosplays or cosplaying in general, stuff they cosplayed or will cosplay, and yea.

Btw, Eric do the Leon and America cosplays soon or you're going to die.

So...how to start...HI I'M BACK I BET YOU GUYS MISSED ME SO MUCH EVEN THOUGH I KNOW YOU TOTALLY DIDN'T LOL!!! Anyways, I took a break from being a normal college student this weekend and decided to go to an anime convention. Anime Milwaukee to be precise, AMKE for short. It had its up's and downs. I was cosplaying as Kagura Sohma from Fruits Basket for the first day and half of the second day.

I spent most of the first night hanging with my friends outside of the game room. I got there kinda late so the vendor room was closed when I got there.

That is the skull of my ex boyfriend...lol jk jk, I'm on good terms with most of my ex's. XD anyways! Getting back to the point.

AMKE like most anime conventions was totally insane! Oh how I love mass chaos. :3

When I wasn't shopping I was either in the Game Room or derping around with my friends. :3 at one point I went to this panel called "WTF Anime" and the people running it had this conversation:

Girl: I'd say watch your language but this panel is 18+
Guy: Yeah 18+ f*ck b*tch t*ts ass!

XD it was great. we watched an anime called "Cat Soup" that anime is messed up but you should watch it, its hilarious. XD

Since we are still human, yes cosplayers are human, we did have to eat. so we ended up going to the mall connected to the hotel and we had to take a pretty sketchy elvator to get to the food court.

Seems legit lol.

My friends entered a rock band contest and won! I'm so proud of them! :3

At one point I kinda got ditched by everyone so I went and took some random pictures of myself. ^^;

After all 3 days of awesome there was one thing and only one thing that pissed me off...the troll door. A door that lead to nowhere and I saw it from the skywalk everytime I went to the mall to get food.

This was the first year where I stayed in the hotel, usually I just drive there everyday for the whole weekend, but this year I stayed in the hotel with some friends. Getting ready in the morning was...not fun but interesting.

Ok the second pic is lie, Bartell wasn't staying with us, but we did have to help him with his cosplay twice. XD He and I both had no idea how to use bobby pins. XD (which is horrid for me because I've been a dancer for 14 years and should know how to pin up my own hair DX)

The view from our hotel room was great though. X3 unlike this one time I stayed in La Crosse for family and the view from my hotel room was of two dumpsters...actually now that I think about it, that also happened when I stayed in Onalaska. Hmmm...

Well anyways...that's all I got for now. XD It was so great, so much fun stuff happened. XD I can't wait for acen this year!
